We take all things of this nature very serious. So I decided to do a little research. A recent post has been circulating about big box
retailers and the sale of clothing with symbols that may represent "PizzaGate".
"PizzaGate" is the conspiracy theory that children were being trafficked out of the basement of a Washington pizzeria and linking it to some very prominent people in our country ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Although, the theory has said to be not true a recent flood of comments on social media using hashtags to fuel the fire have made the "PizzaGate" conspiracy theory resurface.
This time it has take a bit of twist, it's another election year, but instead of targeting politicians theorists are pointing fingers at prominent global "elite", celebrities, actors, and singers.
According the pizzeria owner the man continues to get threatening phone calls daily at his place of business. Travis View, a researcher who examines conspiracy theories says, “It all becomes a game, and people are drawn in because it feels participatory."
